Background
The founders of Callisto Systems first worked together in 1992 as custom
software consultants for Objix Systems Development. At Objix, each worked
closely with clients to deliver successful solutions. In 1996, Objix
transitioned into a product company, Newtonian Software, specializing in
Enterprise Sales Force Automation software.
At the newly formed startup, the team designed and developed a successful sales
configuration product. In 1999, Newtonian was acquired by Clarify, a division
of Nortel Networks. Over the next two years they worked to integrate, extend
and enhance the configuration software within the Clarify CRM product line.
In 2001,
Callisto Systems was founded by four core developers from Newtonian Software.
As Callisto Systems, the team is utilizing Microsoft development tools and .NET
technologies to successfully deliver solutions for their clients.
